Dear Beloveds, I love this time of year, when we are pausing to deepen into the core beliefs of the Science of Mind. I have often said, "When things get wobbly, go back to the beginning." It's amazing how things that seem basic can be catalysts for our most transformational awarenesses. It never goes wrong.
Last Sunday, we explored what "The Thing Itself" is -- the omnipotent, omnipresent essence that is the Divine, operating in, through and as each one of us. This week, we'll be playing with "The Way It Works," the Universal Law that responds to our thoughts and emotions with creation. It's so fun to think that we are shifting and changing our lives simply by changing our thoughts. "But Rev. Lezli, that sounds like a magic trick!" you say. And in some ways, it is. But we have to make space within ourselves for those thoughts, beliefs, emotions and ideas to change -- and that can take some genuine work.
I'm sure it will surprise you to hear that these kinds of deep changes are best facilitated through Daily Substantial Spiritual Practice. (I know, I know...) Bit by bit, through silence, meditation, prayer and mindfulness, a metamorphosis occurs. As we shift, the thoughts we are pressing into the Law shift and life blossoms. This Sunday, join us as we talk about the Law, our evolving consciousness, and how to "Make Space for It."
